General Review

Allen’s job was eliminated following a merger and subsequent downsizing.  He had answered 75 ads but was getting nowhere.  Companies that did show interest wanted to pay well below what he was making before.  He decided he needed help transferring his skills into a new field, and in particular, assistance with getting quality interviews at the right pay level.

Allen’s consultant first prepared a customized Marketing Action Plan and Resume that specifically appealed to other markets.  After using his resume for the first time, he got a response from an employer with a quality opportunity that he later discovered 1,100 other applicants had previously applied for!

Through the coaching Allen received from his RLS consultant regarding effective approaches to other industries, as well as targeted interviewing and counter-negotiation techniques, Allen successfully made it through a 5-interview process, achieving his goal of not only transferring out of retail, but also gaining a substantial increase in pay.
