General Review

Kerry came to R.L. Stevens after being unemployed for six months.  He had not received any interviews and needed to find a new position quickly.  He also had been in the same industry all of his professional career and decided he was ready to make a change.  He wanted assistance from R.L. Stevens in switching to a different industry.

His consultant spent a great deal of time developing his image to make this transition.  She provided targeted research based on his career goals and developed a marketing plan for guidance on how to successfully switch industries.  She worked on interviewing with Kerry so he would be prepared and understand how to obtain the offer over the other candidates. 

Kerry was anxious for the “launch” into his career search.  Using his targeted research and following his marketing action plan, he identified an unadvertised position.  His interview preparation paid off and he was offered a position over 22 candidates that were also interviewed.  With the help of R.L. Stevens he was successful in making a transition from environmental services with no opportunity for growth to chemical manufacturing that offered a chance to gain additional skills and to improve his income.
