General Review

Peter came to R.L. Stevens because he had resigned from his position as a Geotechnical project manager 2 years ago because of a disagreement with upper company management.  He decided to change careers and get into the computer field.  When he met with us he was working as a temp. in a help desk center environment.

We convinced him that he was most valuable in his former profession and began a campaign to get back into it.  We put together a much stronger resume and helped Peter organize and access his strong network in the geological field.  We taught him how to access the unadvertised market and how to create his own position using his personal marketable strengths.

His objective was, not only to get back into his field, but also make more money, not relocate from NH and do more project management and less fieldwork.

Peter found the job he was looking for.  Perhaps one of our most important contributions, in addition to helping Peter build self confidence through a strong package and presentation was that we also helped him negotiate a much better financial compensation package than he would have on his own.
