General Review

Bonita’s job search was hitting a brick wall.  She felt that no one was taking her seriously and the bills were beginning to mount up.  Bonita had already moved back in with her parents but the situation wasn’t healthy. 

During Bonita’s initial meeting with her consultant, she explained that she wanted to get out of the Financial Area and utilize her degree: BA, Economics.  In her last job, she did not feel she had the opportunity to grow professionally and cold calling was not her gig.  Bonita also felt her strongest asset was her analytical skills and wanted to capitalize on this asset.  Her dream job would be to be employed in the banking / credit union industry.

Being open with her consultant certainly set the stage for success.  It didn’t take long for her consultant to understand that her long-term goals were job satisfaction and recognition for a job well done.  After determining her goals, her consultant targeted her resume toward the needs of local financial institutions.  She was provided with published and unpublished research and spot opportunities and within 12 weeks, Bonita had a job three miles from home and a contract on an apartment.
