We sat down with a few companies in the Chicago area to talk about what makes living and working in The Windy City so great, especially since having lost Oprah. As the third largest city in the United States, Chicago truly has maintained a midwestern feel despite being home to large global companies.
While the cost of living is higher than other cities, there are numerous suburbs and neighborhoods in the city that can accommodate various income levels. Public transit is expansive enough to not need a car on a daily basis and there are a number of entertainment options in the city, leaving a person with options for sporting events, theatrical shows, concerts or a bounty of fine dining options from many renowned chefs.
